George Renard rebuilds the activity

After 1051 days of bombing, the town of Reims was destroyed by about 60%. Most of the farming had stopped, the factories had been reduced to rubble, fourteen thousand houses had been razed to the ground or seriously damaged and the public buildings had not been spared. The cathedral appears as the symbol of the barbaric destruction of the Great War. In total, there were more than 300 shells fired at the building. Everything had to start from nothing, in insurance as elsewhere, George Renard had to patiently rebuild all his activity.
